“ We have been there twice now, and both times everything we have tried has been absolutely delicious. The burnt ends are amazing. Dave (the pig guy ) was super nice, and personally made sure we had a great experience. We absolutely will be back, and we recommend it to everyone we know. Keep up the great work. ”
“ The staff was absolutely great wonderful energy and so welcoming, but the food. THE FOOD was amazing! The flavor of the seasoning was on point and the tenderness of the ribs. You bite into the ribs and it slid right off the bone. 12/10 recommend. ”
“ I really enjoy this place. I go back here over and over. They actually have good coleslaw. I love good coleslaw. I will stop going places if I don't like their coleslaw. The mac and cheese is yummy. The green beans are really good and I haven't tried the potatoes yet but, one of these days. You should absolutely try this place. ”
“ We ate pretty quick so no photos the brisket was super tender and flavorful, I wouldn’t say the blueberry ribs are spicy but they are very yummy, you get that hint of blueberry which is pretty good! The mash potatoes also very good. And the corn bread was divine, buttery and my kids loved it! ”
“ I don’t do reviews, but this place left me an impression! The employees, and owners themselves are so nice and welcoming. Cared about their costumers experience and needs! My husband and I each got our own plates. I had the one meat plate, which came with one choice of meet and two sides. I had the New brisket, Mac and cheese and Macaroni salad! My husband had the half rack of ribs with the new Blue and Heat sauce which was to die for!! We shared the plates and shared with our 3 year old as well, and still had enough to take back home! So that should tell you about their portions. Over all I was impressed on how the owner herself took the time to talk to us and ask us how everything tasted! Which to me made me feel confident on how they care about their costumers experience! We definitely will be going back! ”
“ Listen, I very RARELY leave reviews. However this place is deserving! They had amazing customer service, the lady who helped us (I’m assuming the owner by how she was talking) was so happy to answer any questions I had! My wife and I got a 3 meat to share and it was MORE than enough food to share. We both left so full. The ranch potatoes and cheesy Mac was seasoned to perfection. I was able to eat the brisket with a spoon, the fat melts like butter. The pork has an amazing smoke ring and was still very juicy. The chopped brisket was amazing. I’m a huge sauce person, and while they supplied plenty of sauce options, it truly did not need it! I hope to see them stay for a long time!. Also the corn bread and sweet tea were AMAZING! ”
“ I wish Google allowed a 10 star review! The Lost Texan Barbecue is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth and hospitality that makes you feel like family. James, the owner, is such a genuine and kind-hearted person who clearly pours his passion into every aspect of this place. He took the time to chat with us and made sure our visit was nothing short of amazing. Hudson is the pit-master extraordinaire. He is the example of old-fashion customer service. His dedication and attention to detail shows not just in the perfectly smoked meats but also in how he makes every customer feel valued. Also a shout-out to Grace and Ash. As for the food? Easily a 10 out of 10. The 1/4 chicken and meatloaf top my list of favorites, the ribs are out of this world, and the sides (Mac and beans are my faves) are the perfect complement to the smoky goodness. Highly recommended. ”
“ First off, LOVE the military tribute. Second, food was good! Meats were tender. I loved the flavor of the ranch potatoes and the coleslaw. Liked that the coleslaw was saucy and not dry. I really like the Carolina sauce more than the Texan, but that's personal preference. ”
